The Orange Heart stands for warmth, care, support, courage, and compassion. We chose this name because we believe change begins with a compassionate heart and the courage to act. Our journey started with a few volunteers, a handful of beneficiaries, and a big belief: that women, children, and communities deserve not just help in moments of crisis, but ongoing support, information, and respect.
The organisation was born from a very simple question: “Why do basic dignity, health, and support still feel like a privilege for so many?”
we saw women dropping their dreams to meet daily struggles, children missing out on safe childhoods and education, and families ignoring health issues because of lack of awareness, access, or money. These were not stories from faraway places—they were from our own neighbourhoods, schools, and cities.
As young professionals, we realised that waiting for “someone else” to fix these problems was no longer an option. We wanted to create a space where small, consistent actions could lead to real change—where a health camp, an awareness session, or a learning circle could genuinely shift a life’s direction.
The Orange Heart Foundation delivers practical, community-driven solutions across three vital pillars:
A society where women thrive with independence, children grow with safety and support, and healthcare is accessible, equitable, and robust for everyone.
Optimism
We approach every challenge with hope and the belief that positive change is possible through collective action.
Ownership
Every team member, volunteer and community partner takes personal responsibility for our mission's success.
Openness
Transparency in our work, finances and impact builds trust with donors, beneficiaries and communities.
Outreach
We go beyond walls – reaching slums, villages and underserved neighborhoods where help is needed most.
One Family
Every woman, child and family we serve becomes part of the Orange Heart family, connected by compassion.
